Analyzing the Content of the Second Step Statement of the Iranian Revolution with the Emphasis on the Strategic Duties of the Youth in the Second Step of the Revolution

The leaders of the revolution on February 13, 2018, addressed the Second step of the Iranian Revolution to the people of Iran, as "a beacon to illuminate the future path and progress of the Islamic Revolution of Iran"; This statement, as the initiator of the "great and global process of the second forty years", with a special emphasis on the youth with the phrase "the axis of realization of the advanced Islamic system", calls for the use of long efforts of the young individuals and revolutionary motivations in the second step of the revolution. Therefore, the present article intends to describe and analyze the content of the statement, extract the duties of different segments of the audience, especially the youth in the second step of the revolution and by combining the main indicators, the tasks and action strategy for the second step of the revolution. Methodologically, the present study has considered the text of the statement as a central document and has been analyzed and coded using the method of qualitative content analysis, texts and statements, taking into account the existing literature and statements about youth. By qualitatively examining the text of the statement, along with other statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, the duties and models related to the people, officials and youth were counted. Religiosity and attention to morality and spirituality, progress jihad, system excellence and social justice, revolutionary vision and political jihad.
