The formation and victory of the constitutional movement, along with all the social and political changes in the Iranian society, left many effects in the field of journalism. At that time, using the created political open space, journalists opened their pens to express and sometimes crossed the cultural red lines in the minds of the Iranian society. Criticizing the foundations of the identity of Iranian society, criticizing the characteristics and cultural indicators of Iranian society, fueling social and political insecurity, in the first place caused the distance of leaders like Sheikh Fazlullah Nouri, and after that made the people to keep distance from the intellectuals and even the members of parliament. Distancing people and leaders more and more than anything had a direct and destructive effect on the movement and left that defenseless. In the present article, an attempt has been made to analyze the content published in the first constitutional newspapers (emphasis on the four newspapers of Sur Esrafil, Mosawat, Rooh al-Quds, and Habal al-Matin) with a pathological look at their role in people's disillusionment with the continuation of the uprising. For this purpose, the content analysis method has been used and after reviewing the texts published by these newspapers in the first years of the constitution, the number and frequency of their critical content has been calculated and the ratio of this content to the total published content has been checked.
