Abstract

National cohesion and synergy between elites and the people are among the key indicators of maximum participation of the people in determining their own destiny and accompanying the government and sovereignty. The important issue is that the concept of cohesion is not the same as eliminating differences and differences, because the existence of a plurality of opinions and differences of views is a prerequisite for the cohesion and efficiency of the political system. The aim of the present study is to examine the communicative political rationality in realizing national synergy and cohesion in the Islamic Republic of Iran based on the performance of the Ebrahim Raisi government. Accordingly, the main question of the present study is: "How has the performance of the Ebrahim Raisi government been in realizing national synergy and cohesion?" The central hypothesis or signifier of the present study is an emphasis on the fact that the performance of the 13th government in achieving national synergy and cohesion has been to emphasize communicative, communicative rationality, interaction, and constructive dialogue. The findings of the research, using a descriptive-analytical method and utilizing library resources as well as Habermas' theory of communicative rationality, showed that the approach of Ebrahim Raisi's government in achieving synergy and national cohesion was to emphasize a discourse based on interaction, construction, and convergence with different institutions and classes, transparency and corruption eradication, economic growth with the aim of realizing development, the rule of law with the aim of realizing justice and the universality of justice and social equality, as well as paying attention to the importance of the position of women in society. It seems that the evaluation of the aforementioned components in the Raisi government was acceptable.
