Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Shahabadi is one of the contemporary jurists who have innovative and strategic ideas in various moral, mystical, political and economic fields, and his approach to social mysticism led to not being limited to theoretical issues and making great efforts to reform his society in political and economic fields. and have a culture. Among the fields of Shahabadi's contribution to change the lifestyle of the Iranian society was the economy of his time; While shedding light on the harms and disasters of the micro and macro economy of his era, he presented various organizational and reformist strategies to the people and government officials and even directly entered the field of economic institution building. This issue testifies to his deep understanding of the conditions of the time and the examination of his writings shows that in addition to discussing deep mystical and moral issues, he paid attention to the economic threats of the Islamic society and even the first chapter of the valuable book Shazerat al-Maarif begins with economic pathology. (Subject) Therefore, the present article tries to apply the analytical-descriptive approach (method) to address the formation of the revolution by referring to his economic reflections. (Purpose) In this regard, the authors are trying to answer the question, what are the economic grounds of the formation of the revolution from the perspective of Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Shahabadi (RA)? (Question) The results show that Shahabadi believes that the failure of the economic modernization process has led to social disorder and the existing dissatisfaction with these conditions can provide the foundations for the occurrence of a political revolution. He explained economic ethics, social contexts and governance disorder. Based on the mentioned ratios, Shahabadi points to a precise relationship between moral decay, the strategy of enjoining good and forbidding evil in Islamic society to curb social disorder and the collective effort to change the political system in order to compensate for the inefficiency of the economic and political modernization process.
