[English]

In the thought of Imam Khomeini (RA), the monarchy is in no way capable of realizing the justice desired by the Islamic government. He considers the monarchy to be a system that is based on inheritance and complete domination and is often accompanied by force and domination. This type of government naturally leads to tyranny and corruption and is more deeply at odds with the ideals of social justice and the general desires of the people. The Imam (RA) believes that justice means ensuring the rights of all individuals and creating balance and fairness in society. In his view, monarchy as an authoritarian structure has no place in realizing justice, and in order to achieve this goal, the participation and will of the people are essential. The main question of this article is: "Why did Imam Khomeini (RA) believe in the negation of monarchy and the lack of connection between monarchy and justice?" The hypothesis is also based on the idea that in the thought of the Imam (RA), the monarchy is fundamentally incapable of realizing justice in the true sense. This research was conducted using the critical discourse method and based on library data. The research findings show that in Imam Khomeini's view, the Pahlavi monarchy could not establish justice in society due to characteristics such as tyranny, repression, human rights violations, lack of public participation, corruption, and inequality. For this reason, Imam Khomeini called for changing this system and establishing an Islamic and justice-oriented system.
