[English]

National identity, as a collective spirit and a nation's perception of its own identity and who it is in relation to other nations, is always subject to disintegration and the emergence of "parallel identities." This research, using a descriptive-analytical method and a qualitative content analysis approach, examines the logic and sources of constructing "parallel identities" in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the strategies for dealing with it. The findings show that "structural equivalence" as a logic and Invisible social construction creates network relationships and social movements in the face of national identity. In this regard, "Cognitive error and alien identities, social faults and fanatical identities, disruption of civil order and frustrated identities, social discrimination and class identities, social humiliation and disillusioned identities, and civilization and self-defeating identities" are considered the most frequent sources of disintegration of the national identity and "collapse from within" of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The most important proposed strategies for dealing with this phenomenon include; "raising awareness and constant reproduction of the narrative of self and other, making governance efficient and hopeful for the future, justice-based governance, dignity-based identity, and critical representation of modernization."
