Recent technological developments particularly in the field of artificial intelligence have profoundly transformed the conceptual and structural foundations of the state. Traditional theories of the state have increasingly lost their explanatory power in accounting for the emergent configurations of power. This study poses the question: What implications does the rise of algorithmic states have for classical theories of the state in the age of artificial intelligence? In response, the central hypothesis is that the emergence of algorithmic states by weakening the role of the human subject in governance, rendering authority invisible through computational systems, and redefining key concepts such as legitimacy, accountability, and agency—has rendered classical state theories inadequate for explaining the new political order. This calls for a theoretical reconsideration of the state within a data-driven and technological framework. The findings reveal that in algorithmic states, notions like legitimacy, transparency, accountability, and agency have undergone radical transformation, while political authority is increasingly exercised through computational processes, infrastructural architectures, and technological design. Furthermore, the transition from the rational-legal state to the data-driven state signifies the emergence of a post-human political order, in which not only modes of governance but the very concept of politics must be redefined. This study employs a descriptive-analytical method based on library and digital sources
